The months of May and June 2026 have been extraordinary — a season of relentless labor and overwhelming joy.
On May 12 & 13, the AFT celebrated the opening of three new churches in Khon Kaen Province
- Nong Song Hong Free Church,
- Mueang Phon Free Church
- Khok Si Free Church in Mueang District
These churches are the fruit of months of faithfulness — brothers and sisters proclaiming the Good News in village after village, pioneering new works across every village of this province. We give thanks to God for every step that led to this day.
The pace only increased from there. June 4 brought the opening of
- Phrom Phiram Free Church in Phitsanulok Province.
On June 5 & 6, three churches opened in Lopburi Province
- Khok Chaeron Free Church in the morning and
- Khok Samrong Free Church in the afternoon
- Sa Bot Free Church on June 6
Then returning to Phitsanulok on June 7 to open the
- Nakhon Thai Free Church in the morning
- Chatrakan Free Church before the day was done.
The AFT has now successfully established a village church in every single village and a district church in every district across all of Phitsanulok Province.
Nine churches. Three provinces. Four weeks.
Then came June 9.
In a single day, 1,828 people were baptized — new disciples from 59 districts across 8 provinces in Central Thailand. These are men and women that AFT church planters found by traveling every road into every village, sharing the Good News, and patiently discipling them in their homes.
Together, these nine new churches now serve 1,139 villages — most of which had never heard the Gospel before.
Consider that. Christianity has been present in Thailand for over 200 years. Yet in village after village — particularly across Lop Buri Province — no one had ever come with the Good News. This year, someone finally did.
Each of these new churches is more than a building. It is a center of faith, a stronghold of love, and a channel of blessing to the communities around it. May every person who gathers there know the grace and presence of Jesus Christ.
