Dear Connie
In the past two emails, we have shared AFT's Going Wide, Going Deep, and Going Strong strategy—our roadmap for fulfilling the Great Commission in Thailand by making disciples of those who believe in Jesus. Today, I want to highlight the Going Strong tier - Level 3 Leadership.
Level 3 leaders are those individuals who have risen up through Level 1 and Level 2 training and selected by the Holy Spirit to lead the body of Christ. Many serve as “Timothys” and “Tituses” and serve as pastors and leaders of district churches, while some are called to be “Apostle Pauls” pioneering new territories for the Gospel.
Those attending oversee 78 AFT district churches and over 8,000 village churches—a number we expect to grow to 100 district churches and 10,000 village churches by year’s end. Continual training is crucial to ensuring our leaders have the spiritual maturity and skills to lead effectively.
We are privileged to have Dr. David Schroeder of Masterworks lead many of the Level 3 courses. Dr. Schroeder—President of Pillar College and former President of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary—graciously devotes four weeks each year to teaching our leaders at the AFT Training Center in Chon Daen, Phetchabun, Thailand. With his strategic help, we have crafted a comprehensive discipleship program to ensure our leaders are deeply rooted and well-prepared for this mission.
From March 16–25, we completed our most recent training session where Dr. Schroeder taught over 700 of Level 3 leaders on the Strategies of the Apostle Paul and Spiritual Warfare. We are deeply grateful for his investment in ensuring AFT leaders receive the highest caliber of training possible.
Together, we are equipping leaders, strengthening churches, and advancing the Gospel across Thailand.
Blessings,
