Dear Norm

Look carefully at the top two pictures. They clearly show the power of the Gospel.

Last October I traveled with the FJCCA to share the story of Jesus to villagers in Naam Saad Neua. When you enter a village that has never heard of Jesus the villagers often have a look of sadness and fear (see the first picture). Once you tell them about Jesus and they believe in Him, you can physically see how they are changed. Last week I went back to visit the newly started Naam Saad Neua house church and saw this in action (see the second picture). This time all they talked about was the peace they have in Jesus. Their eyes were bright and clear, and they had joy on their faces.

This is happening in villages in Thailand every week. Last week I went with the FJCCA to three villages where the name Jesus has never been heard. In total 275 people were born again. If you add up the fruit from all the FJCCA groups that went out last week, over 500 people started a new journey with Jesus. Praise the Lord!

Two weeks ago we trained "theALL Church" in Chiang Mai on how to effectively share the Gospel. After the training they established a goal to reach 2,000 people in Chiang Mai within the next 60 days.

Last week the Thailand Assemblies of God denomination brought more than 85 leaders to Central Thailand to see what the Holy Spirit is doing. They went away rejoicing. One AOG leader called yesterday and told me his church started doing what they observed and led over 110 to Christ. In February the FJCCA will go to Bangkok to intensely train these AOG leaders on church planting.

The Gospel has been in Thailand for 190 years. During this time only 5% of the villages have heard of Jesus. After seeing what God is doing in the hearts of the Thai people these last two years I believe within my life time I will see every village in Thailand have at a house church .

As you might imagine it requires substantial financial resources to fuel this movement.  The FJCCA is able to supply over 25% of their financial needs but another $20,000 per month is required to keep up with the demand for Bibles, discipleship materials, mobilization and training expenses.

This Christmas season please consider giving a gift that will bring eternal life to thousands of Thai people by joining in with what God is doing.

Blessings in Jesus,
