Dear Norm

We want to share with you the latest statistics on what God is doing within the FJCCA (Free in Jesus Christ) movement.

  • 434 churches have been started
  • 12,234 individuals have made a commitment to believe in Jesus
  • 37% (4,563) have been baptized
  • 42% (5,139) have finished the 4th level of discipleship
  • 53% (6,542) are attending church

These numbers are extremely encouraging and demonstrates the effectiveness of the Biblical evangelism and discipleship developed by the FJCCA. We make sure none of the “sheep” are lost by diligently counting them and following up with new believers.

This movement is not just happening among the FJCCA, other churches have also asked to be trained. Since the beginning of 2019 seven other groups / churches have been trained and seven more are scheduled to be trained during the next three months.

We know the training is working because when we follow up with the churches they tell us they are far more effective than ever before. They recognize that this is the Thai way to reach the Thai heart.

Please pray for the FJCCA as we train more churches and start more of our own churches. By the end of the year 2020 the goal is to start another 600 churches, train 600 more house church leaders/church planters and baptize 6,000 more new believers.

Family Update

Mary Kay spent three months this year in the US helping her parents. Please pray for her family as they navigate the best way to support their parents.

We have exciting news to share. Mary Kay and I will become grandparents! Our daughter, Crystal, shared with us that she is pregnant and due to give birth in January 2020. Please pray for Crystal and her husband, Brad. Pray that she and the baby stay healthy. We are looking forward to meeting our new grandchild.

Last month our son, Tim, was hired by the MN Department of Natural Resources in the Fish and Wildlife division. This is something he has wanted to do for a long time. Please pray for him.

Pray for Dwight as he has extensive travel plans -- not only to help with training church planters but also for the Thai national plan (TEC). The TEC is working on plans for next year’s Congress 9 which is a gathering of 5,000 Christian leaders in Thailand. Our prayer is that this Congress will be a spring board for the gospel to spread to every village in Thailand by the year 2030.

Blessings in Jesus,
