The Martin Chronicles                                          April 2013

Dear Kirk,

As you know much of our ministry is through the of use technology to help reach the lost. With that in mind we have an opportunity we would like to share with you to help in this effort. It is an opportunity for someone (or a team of people) to be involved in worldwide missions and yet they do not have to travel or leave home. It is using a tool you are probably already know, Facebook.

Last year a missionary colleague started a Facebook page called Biblword. The purpose of this Facebook page is to provide "Daily thoughts from the Bible to comfort, teach, and challenge you." Over the past year this page has grown so large that he couldn't keep up with the daily updates so he asked if my team in Chiang Mai could help him keep the site current. As of today the site has 837,000 subscribers from over 160 countries.

Everyday subscribers ask questions about the Bible. Our problem is that until recently we had a coordinator who reviewed the comments and helped answer the questions people asked. We are now looking for another volunteer coordinator to help us. This could be just one person or a team of people willing to write answers to the questions subscribers are asking about the Bible. Would you consider being that person?

What we need is someone (or a small group) who knows how to use Facebook and can give around four hours of their time every week. Three hours on Friday or Saturday, and one hour on Wednesday or Thursday.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity please visit http://facebook.com/Biblword and check it out for yourself. If after looking at it and you are interested in volunteering to help, please reply to this email. We will then send you what specifically needs to be done.

We look forward to ministry together with you.

Blessings,

Dwight & Mary Kay Martin
