Dear Co-laborer in Christ,
On June 3 - June 5, 2015, the Thailand Evangelism and Church Growth Committee (TEC) is sponsoring the 8th Thailand Congress on Evangelism. The TEC invites all missionaries to attend this significant event and join together with over 5,000 Thai believers to fulfill the Great Commission.
A Congress on Evangelism is held every four years to encourage Thai Christians to reach out to their fellow countryman. All major Protestant church councils (CCT, EFT, and TBC) and many independent church organizations come together for this event.
The focus for this Congress is Evangelism and Disciplemaking. International speakers. Dr. Robert Coleman (author of The Master Plan of Evangelism), Dr. Billy Hanks, Dr. Ramesh Richard and Dr. Joshua Ting are scheduled to speak along with several Thai church leaders.
Pledges will be taken to commit to planting a church in a district that does not have church. This commitment can be made by a mission organization, a church or a missionary. By the end of the Congress our prayer is that every one of the remaining 215 districts will be adopted.
There will be a time of corporate prayer to pray for all of the 5,605 sub-districts without a church. Pray that God will stir the hearts of his people so that the “Light of Christ” will shine into these dark places. Everyone will be given a specific name of a sub-district to pray for.
Please come and join us for this great time of worship, fellowship, encouragement and networking. I promise you will be encouraged and uplifted by seeing what God is doing in this country.
