Dear Norm
God keeps expanding the ministry he has given us. Last month Dwight met with the leaders of several church councils in Myanmar to introduce the Harvest Database and Mapping System we developed for Thailand. After presenting the benefits of the database they were unanimous in their decision to adopt it for their country. God provided the funding in partnership with Reach-A-Village so this project can begin by the end of the year.
This week in Bangkok Dwight met with leaders from Cambodia's MK2021 national plan. They have a vision of reaching every village in Cambodia for Christ. While meeting Dwight informed them that the Harvest system we installed for Cambodia several years ago was not being used to its full capacity. After explaining the type of information they could get out of the database, they invited him to come to Phnom Penh on November 1 to share with MK2021 leaders, statistical and geographical information from their Harvest Database. They also asked that we develop a smartphone app, similar to what developed for Thailand, so they can keep up with the growth of the Cambodian church on a daily basis. This will give them a current and on-going picture of the state of the Cambodian church.
God keeps opening doors! Please pray with us that he will give us strength to continue and that God will provide people to come alongside and work together with us.
Thank you for your prayers, your support and love for us,
Dwight & Mary Kay Martin
