Sharing the Gospel with the FJCCA
116 people baptized on November 19
Christmas outreach in Wong Pong, Phetchabun

Dear Norm

This week someone asked me to describe the movement in Central Thailand with the ”Free in Jesus Christ” (FJCCA) group. My answer was “the lame walk, the deaf hear, the demon possessed are set free and the alcoholic is healed.” They don’t make a big deal of these events because they are just part of what God does. They expect them because that is what they read in Scripture. Every time we are with them we are reminded of the events in the Gospels and Acts.

Our primary role with the FJCCA is as a resource provider. We provide Bibles, discipleship training materials and tools to help manage the movement. These resources help fuel the movement because they cannot afford them on their own at this level of growth.

Dwight also serves as an adviser to them and a contact person for missionaries and Thai leaders to keep them informed of what God is doing with this movement. When he can he is also involved in their evangelism and discipleship events. This includes sharing Jesus to hundreds of villagers, baptizing and encouraging new believers as well as the church planters

In the last newsletter we wrote about a training session to be held with 120 FJCCA church planters during the first week of November. At this meeting, Bob Craft, from Reach a Village provided training. There was a time for testimonies, celebration and establishing their next 70-day goal. On the final day, the Holy Spirit was visibly present during the communion and foot washing service.

The FJCCA surpassed their November church planting goal. Instead of 71 house churches they started 74 and more than doubled the goal of 372 new believers. Their next 70-day goal is to start 89 new churches, add 1,600 new believers and train 100 more church planters. They are well on their way as they have scheduled Christmas evangelism events in 70 villages with many coming to faith and new house churches starting.

Please pray for Pastor Somsak and his leaders that they would be kept safe as they aggressively spread the Good News to this needy land. Also pray for the new believers as they grow in the knowledge of Jesus. It is important that they be grounded in the Word of God.

We pray that you will have a wonderful Christmas season as you celebrate the birth of the Savior.

Blessings in Jesus,

Dwight & Mary Kay Martin

We are very thankful for the support you have given us over the past 5 years. Because of your faithfulness we have the money needed to purchase the building for the foundation.
(We make the final payment in January)
You also helped us raise over $5,000 to provide resources for the FJCCA movement.

During these 5 years we have neglected our personal support. If the Lord leads, please consider supporting us with a one time gift or a recurring monthly donation.

We love and appreciate every one of you!
