We wanted to send you a quick update on what has been happening during the past few months so you can pray for us and be encouraged as to what God is doing.

First an item of prayer for Mary Kay and her family. Mary Kay had to rush back to the United States on August 10th because her mother had unexpectedly passed away. She has been in the US for the past six weeks arranging the funeral and attending to family matters. She will return to Thailand on Oct 2nd. Please pray for her and her family during this difficult time.

Dwight continues to travel with the FJCCA doing church planting training all over the country.  From churches in Chiang Rai in the far north to Surat Thani in the far south. In fact, Dwight was in Chachoengsao province (in the east) training 120 IMB missionaries and their partners when Mary Kay called to tell him her mother just  passed away. He quickly finished his message and went to the airport to fly back to Chiang Mai to be with Mary Kay.

Last week Dwight was in Nakhon Sawan province sharing the gospel in the village of Kroc Katin.What was unique about this evangelism event was that it was held on the grounds of a Buddhist temple. That day 44 people may a decision to follow Jesus. PTL!

The next day he visited believers at the Kut Rakam house church in Phicit province. It was encouraging to hear the history of the believers in this village. In the picture on the bottom you can see six generations of new believers. The lady on the far left has been a believer for about two years. She shared the gospel to the lady on her left who then shared the gospel to the lady on her left. This continues all the way down to the last person (in the white shirt) who is the latest believer. She learned about Jesus only three months ago from the person on her right. Isn’t that cool?  Stories like this are being told all over central Thailand. 

Those who have heard the good news of Jesus can’t keep it to themselves and have to go and tell others.
