Government Officials Witness the Power of the Gospel

Dear Norm
One clear sign that the Gospel is making a difference is when even non-believing government officials notice positive changes in villages and communities.
The video above features Mr. Thanpong, the Mayor of Nawa, Phu Wiang, District, Khon Kaen province, he is the person who grant us permission to use the lake for baptism services. Initially skeptical when we first approached him a couple of years ago for our first baptism service at this location, he has since observed the impact of our work in the villages and communities under his jurisdiction and now fully supports us. Another supporter is state representative Worachot from Phetchabun province. He makes an effort to attend the baptism services in Phetchabun. He attends because he sees the positive changes in the lives of the people we serve and wants to be associated with this transformation. He recognizes and appreciates the positive societal impact the Gospel is making in the provinces where AFT church planters have brought the Good News of Jesus Christ. Finally, we have Thanawan Sriyakul, the Director of Public Health Services in Wong Pong, Phetchabun, who believed in August 2023. When she embraced Jesus, the Gospel message profoundly transformed her life.
She is passionate about spreading the love of Jesus to other public officials in her district and neighboring districts.

These are just a few examples of how the Gospel is transforming Thai society through the AFT’s efforts, impacting not only ordinary citizens but also those in positions of authority.
