Dear Norm
If you look at the picture above for a few seconds you will see visually the movement of the FJCCA army of church planters as they bring the light of Christ into the areas in Thailand that have never heard of Jesus. Following Jesus’s example in Mark 1:38 (Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”) FJCCA church planters go village to village sharing the Gospel and establishing house churches in these villages.
The FJCCA church planters are the foot soldiers. They are willing to give their lives to this cause. They don’t get paid to do this. They do it because they love Jesus and want to tell others about Him. They share how Jesus has dramatically changed their lives and how HE can change your life as well. When people in a village learn about Jesus and believe in Him, FJCCA church planters return every week to disciple those that put their trust in Jesus. They keep returning until the house church has its own leadership and can “stand” on its own.
During the past four years the FJCCA has started 900 new house churches. (18,450 people believed in Jesus of which 43% have been baptized.) Last week the FJCCA had their annual leadership camp meeting. In this meeting they established a new goal. In 2021 their goal is to establish 800 new churches. Almost the same number of churches as the previous fours years but in just one years’ time!
You may not be the solider in the field but in a military context you are part of the supply train. The supply train is the logistical transport element that accompanies a military force. Its job is to provide material for the combat forces in the field. Your role is just as important. Without the materials you provide such as Bibles, gas money, discipleship books, and other supplies the army could not advance. Without your “air cover” of prayer the soldiers in the field are vulnerable to attack. We need more of both types of support.
In the coming year we are praying for a minimum of $800,000 of materials to supply our field soldiers so they can accomplish next year’s mission. The more materials we have the faster the army can move.
Please consider being part of this army whose objective is to reach every area of Thailand with the Gospel in the coming years. As you consider your year-end giving please consider giving to this cause. The section below tells how you can supply this army.
Blessings in Jesus,
Dwight & Mary Kay Martin
